Gestalt Practicum: A Six-Day Intensive in Gestalt Practice with Christine Price, Dorothy Charles, and guest teachers
This experience is designed for anyone wanting to explore the Gestalt Practice form in theory as well as through personal practice. Participants will have the opportunity to experience this work from the seat of the explorer (Initiator) and supporter (Reflector). Those in the helping profession who are interested in integrating this approach into their current practice may find this program especially useful.
The format will include:
structured exercises that allow participants to work with one another
open seat sessions with the leaders
didactic presentation and discussion, and
additional approaches to awareness that support ongoing practice
For those considering application to long-term study program, this workshop is a prerequisite. Although we do not have concrete dates for the next course of study at this time, we are planning to schedule our first meeting at either the end of July or beginning of November 2020. This Gestalt Practicum is also open as a comprehensive experience to participants not intending to do any future ongoing program.
